Caribbean Calcite Multi-Animal Sculpture | Large 6.25" Hand-Carved Crystal Statement Piece

This is truly a statement carving.

Standing approximately 6.25 inches tall, this elaborate Caribbean Calcite sculpture has been carved into a detailed multi-animal scene with dimensional figures, sweeping tails and layered details that reveal something new from every angle.

The natural stone is just as impressive as the carving. Soft aqua and seafoam-blue tones flow through creamy white crystalline areas, with warm tan and rust-colored natural matrix left visible throughout the sculpture.

Rather than polishing away every natural feature, portions of the original stone have been incorporated into the design. Natural pockets, cavities, crystalline areas and contrasting matrix give the sculpture wonderful texture and individuality.

The dramatic fan-like tail is especially impressive, with individually carved sections creating height, movement and dimension.

IG Crystal Archive Thoughts

There is SO much happening in this carving! Every time I turn it, I notice another animal, curve or natural crystal detail I didn't see before. The soft Caribbean blue against the cream and earthy matrix is gorgeous, but that dramatic sweeping tail is what makes this a true statement piece. Definitely one for the collector who loves unusual carvings.
