Carved from polished agate, the piece displays beautiful layers of smoky gray, soft lavender, taupe and translucent chalcedony. The rounded shell features natural banding along with small mineral formations that make the carving completely unique.
The standout detail is the natural druzy crystal pocket running across the upper portion of the shell. Tiny exposed crystals catch the light and create a sparkling contrast against the smooth polished agate.
The snail itself is beautifully carved with detailed eyes, antennae and textured markings along the body and base.
Because this is carved from natural stone, variations in color, banding, inclusions, druzy formations, small pits and other natural characteristics are part of the piece rather than flaws.
