Natural Smoky Quartz Point on Wooden Stand | Semi-Polished Raw Crystal Display Specimen

This beautiful Smoky Quartz specimen gives you two completely different looks in one piece.

The front and sides have been selectively polished into broad geometric facets, allowing the smoky brown, charcoal and translucent gray coloration of the quartz to show beautifully.

Turn the specimen around and much of its original natural crystal formation remains intact.

The reverse reveals rough growth texture, uneven natural surfaces, earthy mineral coloration and portions of the quartz much closer to its original formation.

That contrast between refined polished quartz and raw natural crystal is what makes this specimen especially interesting.

The crystal itself measures approximately 3.4 inches tall × 2.7 inches wide and is mounted on a rich reddish-brown wooden pedestal base.

The wooden stand complements the deep smoky coloration beautifully and transforms the specimen into a finished, ready-to-display piece.

I love that they didn't polish this entire piece. From the front, it looks dark, sleek and almost architectural. Turn it around and you see the rough natural quartz it started from.
